Wayne Rooney was one of the players who was in great form, and a good season looks sure to be had by the 25 year old striker.
He has always been in the media press for many reason, should be due to fantastic goals that he has score for his club or country, personal appearances or scandals involving prostitutes. But the the latest subject he was in the worldwide news for was his hair transplant. He was reported to have said if he was going bald so early, then why not.
He was said to be absolutely delighted with the outcome.Rooney was said to be getting paranoid about his receding hairline after a former teammate nicknamed the star ‘Bobby Charlton’ – after the United legend who has the infamous comb-over. But after Rooney had undergone a procedure called follicular extraction at a clinic in Harley Street, which is in London – and estimated to be at a cost £11700, he couldn’t wait to display the results.
The great support shown by his other United team mates was a big boost for Wayne Rooney, who had previously struggled to cope
with the constant changing-room humor about his thinning hair to heart. He was put under a local anesthetic during the whole the 8-hour hair treatment technique, reported to be at a hair clinic on Harley Street. Rooney was widely reportedly to have been looking forward to the treatment since the Christmas of 2010.
Rooney had been allegedly been attempting to battle his hair decline for the previous two years, cutting his hair to prevent an obvious baldness. During May 2009 it was reported that he was using a certain scalp lotion that contains the drug known as Propecia which supposedly blocks the lost hair hormones.
So just how did his new hair stand up to the to the hustle and bustle of the Charity Shield. As he walked onto the Wembley pitch, all the crowds eyes were firmly on Rooney’s new thatch, as well as the millions of people around the world who watched the event on television. There was definitely a good new growth of hair now, as it was first feared after the transplant it could take up-to a year to fully show.
He was not scared to get involved in any kind situation which involved him using his head, or tackles with other players which can sometimes result in the opposition dragging them down to the ground. So, all in all, Wayne Rooney’s Hair performed very well at the Charity Shield of 2011.
